Iznajazz is conceived as a amazing party with the best live musicthat takes place in the most interesting and emblematic spaces in the wonderful town of Iznájar.
In this, its 5th edition, Friday night will bring us emotional and frenetic Balkan music.
Earlier, we'll have the chance to immerse ourselves in the universe created around traditional Brazilian music by Miguel Ángel Corral and his band, and even participate in a singing workshop with Alex Oliveira and join their performance. And as every year, we'll dance in the street with Xaranga del Xubec or in the square with Elsa Bhor.
And maybe some more surprises...
Iznajazz es un festival organizado por la asociación cultural Allá Orillas con la financiación del Ayuntamiento de Iznájar y de numerosos patrocinadores locales. Está concebido como una gran fiesta con la mejor música en directo. Gracias por asistir.
The overseas musical traditions, jazz, Cuban son, and Brazilian rhythms, their colors and structures, and Iberian music—more specifically flamenco—converge in an original proposal. In this project, besides original compositions, there is a tribute to classics of popular music such as Chiquinha Gonzaga, Dizzy Gillespie, Baden Powell, and Félix Santos.
In an essentially acoustic format where the sounds of the piano, three Cuban "tres", bass, and percussion intertwine with the Spanish guitar, the quartet creates an elegant and sophisticated musical texture that is also warm and captivating, leaving ample space for improvisation while respecting the roots of the music.

In the field of choral music, he directed the Intercultural Choir of Cruz Roja Granada and worked on the Solidarity Communities project and the Cultural Days of the Spanish Embassy as a guest teacher at the Orquestra Sinfónica de Kaposoka school in Luanda (Angola).

Her photos are not just simple reports; they convey energy, rhythm, and truth because a good photograph is not only about technique but also about passion and commitment to what happens on both sides of the lens.

Exhibition of iconic records from the history of international jazz, from Louis Armstrong or Nina Simone to John Coltrane or Tete Montoliú.
The records in the exhibition come from the personal collection of Andrés Garrido Sánchez, a great enthusiast of music in general, jazz in particular, and vinyl records. He hosted a jazz program for years on Radio Rute (among others), which was selected and broadcast for several seasons on the Network of Local Radio Stations of Andalusia.
During the event, there will be a discussion about the publishing and record label 'La Casa Rosa,' and a showcase of the first two physical vinyl records from their 'Beyond Jazz Series.' Additionally, information about these albums and their musicians will be provided. Afterwards, 'La Casa Rosa' will offer attendees a vinyl listening session.
