2023 Edition

1, 2 and 3 september

Iznajazz is conceived as an amazing party with the best live music that takes place in the most interesting and emblematic spaces in the wonderful town of Iznájar.

In this, its 3rd edition, the main performances will bring us the magic and irresistible rhythm of Central African music.

We will be impressed by a gospel choir; learning to dance swing and other curiosities about music and African percussion; we can also attend a mysterious and unique micro-concert in the castle's cistern (aljibe del Castillo) and, above all, dance and have fun with some great musicians.

We are waiting for you to come and live this unique experience.

Iznájar

More than a stage

Iznájar

More than a stage

All Iznajazz performances take place on the streets, in the most emblematic places of the old town: The Castle and old Alcazaba, Calle Real, Paseo de la Constitucion and Plaza Nueva.
Iznájar is not just the place where it happens, it is one of the protagonists of the festival. The beauty and singularity of its spaces, as well as the interaction of the performances with them, make this festival unique. Aspects such as shade or the proximity of catering services have been taken into consideration, to allow attendees the ability to enjoy each space at the ideal time and conditions.

Masterclass

Keys to start improvising and not die in the attempt

Taught by:  Diego M. Pecharromán
You don't know where to start improvising? you choke with so many notes, scales, chords...and you don't know how to use all the theoretical information?
In this workshop you will learn how to approach improvisation step by step. You will start improvising little by little, from less to more, and strengthening key concepts such as rhythm, phrasing...and we will talk about some scales to start improvising and to allow us to enjoy a lot with only three or four notes.
Diego M. Pecharroman is a teacher with his own methodology that is characterised by explaining in a few words and in a simple way something that seems very complex, but in reality, is not. Creator of the “Armonia through metaphors” method, and the online musical academy “supervivencia musical” (supervivenciamusical.com) where he carries out his pedagogical and informative work in the practice and theory of music.
Registration is free until full capacity is reached.
